We’re winding down the year. What a pleasure it has been to teach you all! I wish all the 8th graders a great summer and a wonderful high school career. Good luck to you all!

Week of May 17 , 2010–Daily Activity Week 20–
MONDAY:
Daily Activity: Mayan group assignments.
Agenda: 1. Review procedures & assign color groups.
2. Explain four centers and begin rotation:
- Center 1—Computer practice on Mrs. Mohrman’s website—practice words for foods and colors.
- Center 2—-10 minutes of flashcard practice—-La Comida Worksheet (finish and hand in)—-Moorish tiles (due by day 4).
- Center 3—-Design a Meal (complete and turn in today)–-La Comida Puzzles Page (due ASAP).
- Center 4–-Design a Menu (complete and hand in ASAP).
TUESDAY:
Agenda: Continue working through Centers
WEDNESDAY:
Agenda: 1. Continue through Centers
THURSDAY:
Daily Activity: Final for Spanish Unit & Begin movie.
Agenda: 1. Review for Spanish Unit Final.
2. Take Spanish Unit Test.
3. Begin The Devil’s Arithmetic movie.
FRIDAY:
Continue watching The Devil’s Arithmetic movie.

If you’re looking for the vocabulary lists, click on your level for the games, and you’ll find “list of terms.” Click on the “list of terms” and copy and paste them to a Word document to create your list.
If you want to review a UNIT of vocabulary that is not listed…click on Mrs. De Boer’s “Profile” under the Vocabulary Games, and you’ll find all the vocabulary unit folders. Click on the folder and find your level to play the different unit.
